Ashoka Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay is strengthening its network of young entrepreneurs, including through regional, multi-stakeholder gatherings and through trainings on employment trends, entrepreneurship and changemaker skills, which encourage innovation and the use of technology.
Ashoka is a global organization that advances social entrepreneurship by identifying and supporting people and ideas that tackle social challenges in innovative, sustainable, and systemic ways. Through its network of Ashoka Fellows, the organization backs leaders working across issues such as education, employability, health, environmental sustainability, and technology for impact. At the heart of Ashoka’s approach is the belief that lasting change comes not only from helping individuals, but from shifting systems—connecting social entrepreneurs, companies, governments, and communities to reimagine how change happens and who gets to lead it.
With support from the Citi Foundation, Ashoka is leading a regional initiative at the intersection of youth and work in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. Built on Ashoka’s Tribu network, the program helps young people strengthen not only their readiness for work, but also their entrepreneurial mindset, changemaking skills, and access to the relationships and opportunities that can shape meaningful careers. By engaging employers and policymakers alongside youth, the initiative aims to reframe employability as more than job access alone—positioning young people as active leaders in building a more inclusive and sustainable future.
