Fundación ProEmpleo is a Mexican nonprofit dedicated to unlocking the transformative power of decent work and entrepreneurship as pathways to well-being, autonomy, and community resilience. For more than 30 years ProEmpleo has supported people facing conditions of vulnerability to build fuller, more productive lives, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and resources to create sustainable economic opportunities for themselves and their communities. With support from the Citi Foundation, ProEmpleo is strengthening its integrated model of employability and entrepreneurship support for youth and adults navigating barriers to economic inclusion. The program combines hands-on training, personalized mentoring, specialized consulting, and ongoing learning opportunities to build technical, productive, and socio-emotional skills. Grounded in a strong volunteer network and deep community reach, this work helps participants launch and grow sustainable businesses, access decent employment, and step into their roles as local agents of change advancing productive inclusion across urban, peri-urban, and rural communities.
